Mallory and Brock were set up as blind dates for the Junior Ring Weekend at Providence College in 2008. Timing was not on their side, though, as Mallory was studying abroad in London that semester and Brock remained on campus with their mutual friends. When Mallory returned in the spring of 2009, Brock attempted to land a date, but things never worked out. Then, in the fall of 2009, Mallory finally made her move and the stars were aligned. They have been together ever since!

Brock never purchased a class ring at Junior Ring Weekend, as he thought it was too expensive. Little did he know that he would trade his class ring for an engagement ring six years later!
